The duo “SKUKI” is made up of two brothers, Tumi and Peeshaun! Tumininu was born on the 5th of July, while Atewo (aka Peeshaun) was born on the 4th of October.

Even though there is a slight age difference between the two brothers, they are always treated like twins by family members, always getting them identical clothes and shoes as gifts.
They had their primary education at the Staff School, University of Ibadan and also their secondary education at the International School, Ibadan. However, shortly after they started doing music professionally, they had to part ways to pursue their tertiary education. Tumi went on to study Geography at the University of Lagos, while Atewo remained in Ibadan to study Law at the University of Ibadan. Despite the fact they spent 70% of their time apart, they still kept their musical interest well intact (being brothers that wasn’t hard).
In the summer of 1999, during a conversation to coin a perfect stage name for their group, the name “2much” was initially adopted. But been unsatisfied with the name and a couple of others suggested by friends, Peeshaun mentioned a funny word that got everyone present laughing. He was asked what the funny new word meant and he claimed he had no idea and that it was just one of his spontaneous inspirations. That funny new word “SKUKI” is the name by which they are called today. Up to date “SKUKI” has recorded over 40songs, a selected few have been handpicked to make up their debut album, which is scheduled for release before the end of 2008.

Tumi, the elder of the two is a very down to earth individual with an easy approach to life, he seems to be the quieter of the duo. He has as his hobbies swimming and making music. He is also very scared of heights. Tumi's philosophy of life is 'NOTHING VENTURED NOTHING GAINED'.

Atewo (aka Peeshaun) is a student of literature, who enjoys poetry and reading virtually anything. His other hobbies are travelling and meeting people .He is an extrovert and can be seen talking a lot at social gatherings. Atewo's philosophy of life is 'NO GUTS NO GLORY'.

'PEESHAUN' the adopted stage name, which is coined from the sound made from a gun, represent his wittiness and the attention he draws to himself when he enters a room. Tumi in his usual humble manner has stuck to his christened name, 'TUMI' as both his brand name and his regular name.
SKUKI is signed unto Daphella Entertainment, a new record label, set to make an impact on the Nigeria Music industry. Skuki's first hit single 'FIRE' is out now, getting massive airplay both on radio and T.V.
