That Night things deteriorated , Your heart n lungs struggled tofunction then your kidney shut down, You were on and off a respirator
then you slid into a coma induced by end stage renal failure. I can remember how I had to follow the ambulance the Ambulance to ST Nicholas for dialysis and hoping that it would be okay and we can all return home.
It came as a shock to me that you who drove urself to the hospital for medical check up didn’t return home, you were not on admission either,You left us to be with the one that treasured you and needed you
more.
You were a good dad; you sacrificed all you had to ensure thatwe got the best. I remember you everyday and I miss you, ur jokes, urlaughs, ur dance steps ( lol), ur bluntness. You were you, no one can
be like you or come close to you.
I would want to come back as your daughter again ; I would only askGod to give you longer years on earth. I really hoped you will bethere for my wedding, convocation, my baby dedication, and all thespecial times that I would have loved to share with you but God knowsbest that was why I sang “ What can I say unto the lord all have to
say is Thank you lord…
Thank you Lord … all through the burial becauseI am yet to recover from all this. The lesson I learnt is that I have to treasure my family and tell them how special they are to me as manytimes as I have the chance /opportunity to. It is really painful that
I never got to say good bye , I never had the chance to hear your last
words, it was as if you knew it would happen then you sent me off with
Jon B. Your little girl is with me… I will take care of her.
Four Long Years but God has seen us through. His grace has been
sufficient for us. I would want to thank all the people that stood by
us during this trying period … Alhaji Abu , Mr. white, my then
boyfriend ( lol)… Soffy n his family, the Abioduns, Adelokikis,
Fasuyis, Adegbayemus, Okoros, Mrs. Omoghene, Fatu, Ibironkes,
Ositades, Sylvia , Efe, Shanko, My wife, Eloho Baiyewu, Bukky Ogunade
, Kenneth, jacintho, benji… God bless u all.
